About Me

On October 3, 2000, a wide-eyed six-year-old girl sat on her great-grandmother’s couch, watching the first of three debates between would-be president George W. Bush and current Vice President Al Gore. The girl, so captivated by what she saw, decided to watch follow-up coverage the next morning on the TODAY show with Katie Couric and Matt Lauer. One day became two, two days became a week, several weeks became thirteen years.

At age nineteen, Daniela Berson acquired her associates degree in political science from Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, New Jersey. She decided to follow her passion to the home of American politics, Washington D.C., where she pursued her bachelor’s in broadcast journalism.

Daniela developed her love for radio in a hands-on class at American University with the student-run DAU News Network. She studied under media professionals Jill Olmsted, Don Markus, David Donald and Doug Hecox.

In the summer of 2015, she sent her student media samples to 105.9 FM WMAL DC, and began her professional career as a newsroom assistant. She graduated from American in December 2015.

Her big break came in 2016, when she returned to New Jersey as the evening news anchor at New Jersey 101.5 (WKXW Trenton). She has since reconnected with her Jersey roots and regularly visits journalism and political science students at Brookdale.

In 2018, Daniela left New Jersey 101.5 to explore opportunities in television production. She currently produces for FOX News full time, but is open to writing, painting and voiceover commissions.
